Starting from an anxiety to express creative ideas in teaching, the Lecturer of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at the University of Indonesia came up with an idea to create a Journal called the Guidance and Counseling Journal in 2014 where all the authors are permanent Lecturers of the Study Program. In 2018, with input from one of the permanent Lecturers of the BK UKI Study Program, he proposed to change the name of the Journal of Guidance and Counseling which is too general to become the Selaras Journal of Guidance and Counseling and Educational Psychology studies where the name has a very deep name such as swinging the right leg and left leg in order to keep moving forward and in tune to have a distinctive rhythm and color. Since then, the improvement has begun to be significant since changing its name to the Journal Harmony. Various universities that have Guidance and Counseling Study Programs have begun to look at the Selaras Journal to express creative ideas in research. Previously, the Selaras Journal website was http://ejournal.uki.ac.id/index.php/sel , now the new Harmonious Journal website is https://ejournal.fkipuki.org/index.php/selaras/index . Through history there are many things that can be remembered, it turns out that to be able to progress and develop must go through a process that is long and not instantaneous. We hope that Jurnal Selaras can improve even better.

 

Berawal dari sebuah kegelisahan untuk menuangkan ide-ide kreatif dalam pengajaran, Dosen Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Indonesia membuat suatu ide untuk membuat Jurnal yang Bernama Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling pada tahun 2014 di mana seluruh penulisnya adalah Dosen tetap Prodi. Pada Tahun 2018 atas masukan dari salah satu Dosen tetap Prodi BK UKI mengusulkan untuk mengubah nama Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling yang terlalu umum menjadi Jurnal Selaras kajian Bimbingan dan Konseling serta Psikologi Pendidikan di mana nama tersebut memiliki nama yang sangat mendalam seperti ayunan kaki kanan dan kaki kiri agar tetap melangkah maju dan selaras memiliki irama serta warna yang khas. Sejak itulah peningkatan sudah mulai berarti sejak berganti nama menjadi Jurnal selaras berbagai Universitas yang memiliki Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling mulai melirik Jurnal Selaras untuk menuangkan ide kreatif dalam penelitian. Dahulu Website Jurnal Selaras yaitu http://ejournal.uki.ac.id/index.php/sel saat ini website yang baru Jurnal selaras https://ejournal.fkipuki.org/index.php/selaras/index. Melalui sejarah banyak hal yang bisa diingat ternyata untuk dapat maju dan berkembang harus dilalui melalui suatu proses yang panjang dan tidak instan. Kami berharap Jurnal Selaras dapat meningkat untuk lebih baik lagi.
